Emerging Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing across Africa, has sold its entire position in Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, a regional banking group in sub-Saharan Africa. The investment was made through EMP Africa Fund II PCC (Africa Fund II). The fund achieved a three times return on its initial investment of $11.8m in April 2006, the firm said.
