European venture-backed IPO activity down in 2007

A total of 38 venture-backed European companies completed IPOs in 2007, raising €893.6m. This is down 49 per cent from 2006, which saw €1.74bn raised through 89 venture-backed IPOs, according to the European Liquidity Report from Dow Jones VentureSource.
