UK private equity firm Bridgepoint has made its first Nordic investment with the acquisition of Solhaga, a Swedish company specialising in care services for autism sufferers, from Swedish firm Valedo Partners. The investment was made through Bridgepoint Development Capital, the firm’s lower mid-market buy-out arm. The deal value was not disclosed, but BDC tends to invest between €50m and €200m per transaction.
