Blackstone hires Chip Schorr as a senior MD in the PE Group with tech focus

The Blackstone Group has appointed Chip Schorr as a senior managing director in the firm's Private Equity Group. Based in New York, he will oversee technology-related investments. Prior to joining Blackstone, Schorr was with Citigroup Venture Capital Equity Partners in New York for nine years.
