PE and VC firms invest $1.5bn in Indian-founded companies in US during 2005

Private equity and venture capital firms invested about $1.5bn in 125 Indian-founded companies in the US during 2005, according to Venture Intelligence India. This represented a slight decrease from 2004 when 129 companies raised $1.6bn.
